The Twin Ports Rosemaling Society
of Northern Minnesota and Wisconsin
We are residents of northern Wisconsin and Minnesota who are passionate about rosemaling and other things Norwegian. We meet once a month on the 3rd Tuesday at 6:30 pm. The meeting location alternates between the Superior Public Library and the Proctor Area Community Center. We welcome new members and visitors. We put on a Scandinavian Fest every year on the last Saturday in September. We sponsor classes taught by our members and by Gold Medal rosemalers who come from other areas. Occasionally we organize trips to other Scandinavian fests or museums. Our desire is to learn more about Norwegian folk crafts and to share what we learn with others who are interested.
