The Twin Ports Rosemaling Society of Duluth, Minnesota and Superior, Wisconsin sponsors an annual Scandinavian Festival The next fest will be held on: September 25, 2010 from 9:00 to 3:00 at the Shrine Center 5152 Miller Trunk Hwy (Hwy 53), Hermantown, MN 55811 This is a new location for this year. See map. Public admission is $2.00
Vendors at the fest offer all kinds of Scandinavian items including: Carved and Turned Wood, Hardanger embroidery, Knitted and Felted items, Gnomes, Jewelry, Books, Rugs, and of course Rosemaled items.A tea room offers Scandinavian treats; freshly made lefsa is available; guest demonstrators demonstrate wood carving, painting, embroidery, spinning and more. Enjoy all this while listening to toe-tapping Scandinavian music.Vendor rental is $30.00 for a space and $7.00 for each table you would like us to provide. - contact Romae if you would like to be added to our vendor mailing list or if you have other questions about the fest.
